A Family Business
Charltons is a fourth generation family business founded in 1946 by George Charlton, who had been in the fruit business since 1905. We grow apples, strawberries, raspberries and cherries on approx 560 hectares across Kent and Norfolk. In conjunction with our producer organisation and marketing desks, we provide quality produce to multiple leading retailers across the UK.
How we grow
We grow our berries using both heated glasshouses and field production in polytunnels to ensure year-round availability.

How we pack
We specialise in packing and storing a variety of top, soft, and stone fruits from both overseas and UK growers, utilising state-of-the-art packhouse and storage facilities.
